Terms
Terms for roofers
Last updated October 3, 2026.
Draft for review. These terms are not in effect yet.
These terms are the agreement between RoofCue™ ("we") and the roofing company that signs up ("you"). They cover Roof Insight, EZ-Quote and anything else we provide to you. Homeowners who use the forms on your website have their own terms.
What we provide
We run the tools you choose and host them for you. You put them on your website with the code we give you, or link to them. Homeowners' requests reach you by email. We set up your account with the details you give us: your company name, logo, colors, contact details, service area, the email address for leads and, for EZ-Quote, your prices.
Your part
- Give us accurate details and keep them current, especially your prices, phone number and license number.
- Hold the licenses and insurance your work requires (in Arizona, a Registrar of Contractors license) and follow the law in your bids and advertising.
- Put the tools only on websites you own or manage, and tell us which ones, so we can allow them.
- Use homeowners' details only to answer their request. Text or call them only as the law allows, and stop when they ask you to.
Estimates and summaries are preliminary
Roof Insight's summaries are written by AI from what the homeowner tells us and shows us. EZ-Quote's ranges come from your prices and a roof size we measure from aerial and other outside data. Both are a first step, not an inspection, a measurement report, a bid or an offer. We work to make them useful, but they can be wrong for a particular roof, and data from others can be missing, out of date or wrong.
Your prices, your contracts, your work
You alone set your prices, decide what to bid after seeing the roof, and choose which homeowners to work with. Any contract for roofing work is between you and the homeowner; RoofCue™ is not a party to it, does not recommend or vouch for you or for any homeowner, and is not responsible for your bids, contracts, permits, workmanship, warranties or how you deal with homeowners.
Covering us for your business
You agree to defend and cover RoofCue™ (indemnify us) against claims, losses, damages and costs, including reasonable lawyers' fees, that come from: your prices, bids and contracts; your work and advice; how you contact homeowners, including calling and texting laws; the content and websites you give us; or your breaking these terms or the law.
Leads and data
The leads are yours. We handle homeowners' information on your behalf, as each form's privacy notice describes, and we never sell it. We may use combined numbers that do not identify anyone, such as how many estimates are started, to run and improve RoofCue™.
Fair use
Each measurement and AI summary has a real cost, so each account has daily limits. If you need more, tell us. Do not resell the tools, copy them, try to get around their limits or security, or send them automated or fake requests.
Price, trial and billing
- Prices are on our pricing page. You can pay monthly or yearly. There is no setup fee.
- Your first 14 days are free. We tell you before your first charge.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel.
- If we change a price, we tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you. Founding-roofer prices stay as agreed for the first year.
Cancelling
You can cancel any time, with no contract and no cancellation fee. Your plan runs until the end of the period you have paid for; after that, the tools stop showing on your website. We do not refund part of a month or year already paid, unless the law requires it. We may suspend or end your account if you break these terms or do not pay, and we will tell you first unless something urgent, such as abuse, requires us to act right away.
Our name and yours
You keep all rights to your name and logo and let us show them in your forms. RoofCue™, Roof Insight and EZ-Quote are ours. The small "Powered byRoofCue™" line stays in the forms.
Services we rely on
The tools use other companies' services, for hosting, maps and aerial data, AI, email and payments. We are not responsible for their outages or changes, and we may switch providers or change features to keep the tools working.
No warranties
We work to keep the tools running and secure, and we monitor them. Even so, the tools are provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we make no promises beyond those written in these terms, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy, and we do not promise the tools will be uninterrupted or free of mistakes.
Limit on our responsibility
As far as the law allows, RoofCue™ is not responsible for lost profits, lost jobs, lost data, or indirect, special or consequential damages, even if we were told they were possible. Our total responsibility for any claims aboutRoofCue™ is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will email you before the change takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then; using the tools after that means you accept the change.
Law and disputes
Arizona law applies to these terms. If there is a dispute, we will first try to settle it by talking for 30 days. If that fails, the state or federal courts in Maricopa County, Arizona, decide it.
The rest
These terms, together with any order or plan you choose, are the whole agreement between us. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies. You may not transfer your account without our written consent. If we do not enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later.
